Hiking Trails in Nuorgam
Skaidijärvi Circular Trail – 5.8 km
This family-friendly trail starts from road to Pulmankijärvi and takes you to the Lake Skaidijärvi. The shortest route to the lakeshore is 1.7 km from the Isonkivenvaara’s peak (3.4 km trip back and forth). At the lake, enjoy a wilderness hut (kota), campfire site, dry toilet, and woodshed. Hárremahčohkka Peak Trail – 4.2 km one way
This trail is more challenging and climbs to the peak of Hárremahčohkka. Thatäs why it offers stunning views toward Norway’s highlands and Lake Pulmankijärvi. The trail is clearly marked with new boardwalks for easier hiking. Map & details.
Other Trails
For more experienced hikers, the area also offers a 64–70 km trekking route from Pulmankijärvi to Sevettijärvi, as well as several marked trails across the border in Norway. More information about Norwegian trails can be found at Perletur.no. The closest trails to Nuorgam include routes to the Uhcasearbbaš (peak), Buolbmátčohkka (peak) and Gollevárri (cultural heritage area). For a truly memorable excursion, we recommend a visit to the famous Rullesteinsfjæra, just about an hour’s drive from us, which is ideal for a day trip in Norway. Transport Services
If your trek requires transport, we offer pickups and drop-offs along the Pulmankijärvi–Sevettijärvi route. Our minibusses (6+1 and 8+1 seats) can accommodate larger groups and equipment, including bicycles.
